Looking for something free to do this Friday night? The BHS Student Council is hosting their annual Talent Show, and there are 16 acts lined up this year! We are asking for donations of school supplies and/or backpacks for us to give away this fall. We hope you will join us!

Attention parents and guardians of incoming 5th graders! On Thursday, May 11, your students will be visiting @Boone Middle School for a building tour. Later that day, parents are welcomed to visit the middle school with their students for an informational session from 5:30 to 6:30pm. During the meeting, staff will welcome incoming families with a tour and an overview of things to keep in mind as we look forward to the 2023-2024 school year! We hope to see you there!

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Chad Houston is a 2000 graduate who has served on the Chamber Board and Boone County Economic Board for the past 9 years. He is also a current member of the CTE Advisor Board for Boone CSD!

Join us tonight for our Boone Middle School Band Concerts! 🥁🎺 5th and 6th grade will perform at 6:30pm, while our 7th and 8th graders will follow at 7:30pm. Both performances will be held in the Middle School Gym. 🎶

Let's start the morning with a fun fact. Would you believe our food service staff has over “141” combined years of devotion to Boone School Nutrition Program and to our students? These incredibly hard working individuals are dedicated to providing nutrient rich meals which are critical for students health and well being, show genuine care and concern for our students and do it all daily with friendly smiles on their faces. Our staff undertakes a tremendous amount of meal preparation daily and we cannot thank them enough for pledging this kind of loyalty to our district. I guarantee we have the best in the business! Congratulations team!

Boone CSD is reviewing our K-12 Health Curriculum this school year, and we are continuing to engage parents and community members in the process. Interested? Please join us to review a proposal of improvements to our health curriculum alignment and materials on Monday, May 15 from 4 to 5pm in the Boone HS Library.
