Book Fair: Make sure to stop and visit the book fair that's going on at Franklin during conferences. Families can pick up some books to keep the kids busy over spring break next week! Lost & Found: Also, make sure to check out the lost and found outside the office. We have a TON of lost items that we'd like to get back to the owners. Anything left after conferences will be donated.

Reminder: Please do not block intersections or driveways when waiting in the pickup lines after school. We value our neighbors at Franklin and want to make sure we maintain positive relationships with them. Thanks for being courteous to the residents around our school!

Our upcoming schedule is a little different due to conferences and spring break. As a reminder, here is our schedule for the next couple of weeks: Wednesday, 3/6: Early dismissal at 1:05 for teacher PD Thursday, 3/7: Early dismissal at 1:05 for spring conferences Friday 3/8: No school for students Next week 3/11 - 3/15: Spring break - no school for students

It's spring conference week! There's still time to sign up for a conference with your student's homeroom teacher if you haven't done that yet. Our goal is to meet with 100% of our families. Please contact the Franklin office if you need assistance in signing up for a conference time.

The following information is for current 4th grade students interested in joining choir, band or orchestra next year at Boone Middle School: 5th grade students can join orchestra, choir, or band at BMS! It is important for current 4th grade students to sign up NOW so you can get your music class on your schedule when you are in 5th grade next year! Once you are signed up, your new music teacher will contact you about instrument nights and other information before school starts in August! Stop and see the middle school music teachers at conferences at Franklin in the STEM room! We'll have our instruments for you to try and help you get signed up for orchestra, choir, or band. We're off to a great start with the kids heart challenge! We've raised $1,920 towards our school goal of $6,500. The kids heart challenge will run through March 7th. Thanks to everyone for helping us reach our building goal!

We've all been enjoying the beautiful weather this past week but winter is going to make a comeback the next couple days. Please help your student dress appropriately so they're prepared for recess! 🥶

Dear Franklin Families, On Feb. 21, our students kicked off the annual Kids Heart Challenge with Mr. Hilmer and we're so excited! This is a fun service-learning program in which we reinforce healthy heart and brain habits as well as the importance of helping others. Anyone who completes “Finn’s Mission” at this link will earn a chance to win Super Bowl tickets! Thank you for supporting our students in helping to save lives! School Goal: $6,500 Individual Incentives: Every $50 raised = 3 water balloons to throw at Mr. Hilmer on Field Day $100 raised = Lunch recess with Mr. Hilmer (choice of gym or outside) Top Student in Each Grade will get to choose the activity in PE for one full class in May. School Incentives: $3,250 dress like Mr. Hilmer Day $6,500 free choice day in PE for all classes Any Class that gets 50% of students registered online will receive a free choice day for their next PE class!

Spring conference sign ups are now open! Conferences are scheduled for March 5th & 7th. Make sure that your Google calendar is set to Central Standard time so the conference times are showing correctly. Just click the teacher's link on the attached document to sign up for a time. Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL for students on Monday, February 19 for teacher professional development.

Franklin Families: Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 & Thursday, March 7. Conference sign up will open at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 20. Classroom teachers will send out information and links to sign up. It's VERY IMPORTANT that you have your Google Calendar set to central standard time. If it's set to another time zone, your scheduled conference time may be off by an hour or more. Lunch Menu Change: Next week, the Monday (2/12) and Wednesday (2/14) lunch menus will be flip flopped. Monday will be spaghetti with meat sauce and Wednesday will be Mike bites.
