We are elated to share that Covid -19 waiver extensions were just announced and students will continue to benefit greatly by receiving free meals through the 2021/2022 school year! School nutrition staff will continue to provide safe, equal access to healthy school meals. We take pride in maintaining our mission of nourishing students and getting them ready to learn in addition to helping our community families that may be struggling with meal service challenges. Hooray for free school meals!

Upcoming dates for our families: As the year winds down we are planning some experience days that our students missed last year. We will be watching the community spread numbers and following all the safety procedures outlined in your letters. If you do not wish for your child to attend, these are optional experiences to help them get to know our schools. On Friday, May 7th, 9-11 we will have an "Experience Day" for our students that will be kindergartners or transitional kindergartens next year in the 21-22 school year. There will be a letter that will be mailed this week to registered families with all the details of the day. So that means NO SCHOOL FOR ALL CURRENT PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS ON MAY 7th. BEP will still be open for the day for our 4-year-olds. Preschool "Experience Day" for students attending preschool next year during the 21-22 school year will be on Wednesday, May 12th. Letters were mailed out to registered students so check your mailboxes for the letter with details. Due to space constraints and programming needs of our preschools we have decided to move all preschool classrooms to Page Elementary for the 21-22 school year. We know that some of you have requested Lincoln as you have other students that attend there or have childcare set up to drop off at the before school time or at the end of the day time so we have arranged a shuttle for those preschool students only. We will offer a school shuttle from Lincoln to Page for our AM section at drop-off time. We will also arrange a school shuttle from Page to Lincoln at the end of the day for our PM section. A survey will come out in May to see who will be interested in this option. I know that this is a change to the original plan, however, it will allow us to better meet the needs of our students. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
